Call and Response: Changing Light in Transparency

Ella and I were assigned to the printmaking studio! This warm classroom helped us think about which themes we were going to decide on. Ella, familiar with the heat of this classroom, suggested that we cut out a sun vinyl as a "call" and two different stick figures' reactions to the sun as "responses." The first stick figure in pink is clearly enjoying the warmth of the sun, sunbathing in the "sunny" side of the classroom.  On the other side of the classroom, we put a stick figure that is sitting quietly in the shade, sheltered by a towering bush outside. This side of the classroom was, at the time of putting vinyl's up, shaded and cool.
